Dai Beach is located on Phu Quoc island (Kien Giang province), the biggest & wonderful island of Vietnam. This long, long stretch of fine sand beach with turquoise water lapping at the exposed roots of casuarina trees, has for many years been one of my favourite beaches in Vietnam.
In the northwest of Phu Quoc Island, Dai Beach has yet to see any development save for a handful of seafood shacks dotted on the grass under the shade of large tropical trees. A red dirt road runs along its entire length, with sandy tracks leading to countless secluded swimming spots. Located on the upper west coast just beyond Vung Bau Beach lies a long stretch of deserted pristine beach of Bai Dai running for more than 2 miles along this sunset drenched coast.
Bai Dai is a remote paradise with sunshine, warm water and peaceful atmosphere. Coming to Bai Dai from October to March, tourists are going to enjoy how wonderful it is, for the island being in dry season. Dai Beach was ranked amongst the “Top 100 Beaches” by CNN in 2013 and the “Top 5 Hidden Beaches” by ABC News in 2008. The hotel’s all-day dining, beachside specialty restaurant, “Surf Shack” and pool bar will provide guests with great options for meal times, and with a fully equipped fitness centre, outdoor pool, spa and kid’s club, there will be something for everyone coming to stay.
